HOOP FOR TIBET

HOOP FOR TIBET is a documentary about a group of Tibetan monks living in exile in Northern India. Since the 1959 Tibetan uprising, thousands of Tibetan’s followed His Holiness, the 14th Dalai Lama into exile with the objective of preserving their culture & traditions whilst trying to find their way back home. Living in exile, they’ve been exposed to cultures from all around the world & have taken up playing basketball which maybe become a way to bridge the gap between the Tibetan & Chinese.
